About the Role

The Narcotic Drug Treatment Center seeks a dedicated and experienced Opioid Treatment Specialist to join our team in Anchorage. With a 50-year legacy of serving the community, we offer a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by opioid use disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement evidence-based treatment plans for individuals or groups struggling with opioid use disorder.
  • Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment goals and objectives.
  • Provide education and support to families and groups affected by opioid use disorder.
  • Facilitate connections to additional resources and services as needed.
Requirements
  • A degree in counseling, social work, or a related field, along with relevant experience, is required.
  • State of Alaska CDCII certification is mandatory for this position.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and excellent communication skills are essential for success.
  • Strong organizational abilities will enable you to manage competing demands and deadlines.
Compensation:$65,000 - $85,000 annually

This estimate reflects market rates for a qualified professional in the Anchorage area.
