Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacists in the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software, to process prescriptions and manage inventory.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge of pharmacy operations, medications, and patient care.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless delivery of pharmacy services, including clinical services and patient education.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy systems and software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
