We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Resilient Healthcare in Collin County, TX. As a PRN PTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to work on a part-time basis, offering flexible hours to accommodate your schedule. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging exercise programs that cater to the diverse needs of our patients, promoting their physical well-being and rehabilitation progress.
- Counsel and educate new patients, their family members, and caregivers on effective coping strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
- Collaborate with physical therapists to create personalized plans of care, setting goals and objectives that address each patient's unique challenges and areas of improvement.
- Assist in direct patient care, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and adhering to established protocols for safety and efficacy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, prioritizing infection control and adhering to industry standards for sterilization and safety.
- Review patient files prior to appointments, demonstrating a thorough understanding of each case and its complexities.
- Document patient progress in a timely and accurate manner, utilizing relevant software and reporting tools to track outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments through ongoing education and training, enhancing your skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care.
- A valid Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) certification in the State of Texas.
- Proficiency in computer software commonly used for documentation and report preparation, ensuring seamless integration with our systems.
- An Associate degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated expertise in handling sensitive patient information, adhering to HIPAA legislation and other relevant patient privacy laws.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.
