Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging exercise programs that cater to the diverse needs of our patients, promoting their physical well-being and rehabilitation progress.
  • Counsel and educate new patients, their family members, and caregivers on effective coping strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists to create personalized plans of care, setting goals and objectives that address each patient's unique challenges and areas of improvement.
  • Assist in direct patient care, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and adhering to established protocols for safety and efficacy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, prioritizing infection control and adhering to industry standards for sterilization and safety.
  • Review patient files prior to appointments, demonstrating a thorough understanding of each case and its complexities.
  • Document patient progress in a timely and accurate manner, utilizing relevant software and reporting tools to track outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments through ongoing education and training, enhancing your skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care.
Requirements
  • A valid Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) certification in the State of Texas.
  • Proficiency in computer software commonly used for documentation and report preparation, ensuring seamless integration with our systems.
  • An Associate degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling sensitive patient information, adhering to HIPAA legislation and other relevant patient privacy laws.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.
