About the Role

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Flow Lead to join our team in Hershey, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our Patient Logistics department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional patient care and quality service delivery.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supporting Day-to-Day Operations: You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the health system's hospital transfer center and patient placement functions.
  • Customer Service and Quality Care: Ensure exceptional customer service and quality care are delivered to patients and their families.
  • Staff Support and Collaboration: Collaborate with the Transfer Center Liaison and Patient Placement Coordinator to ensure adequate staffing and call acceptance at all times.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in critical care nursing. Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: A bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
  • Critical Care Experience: At least five years of experience in critical care nursing is necessary.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact is required.

Salary and Location

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The job is based in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and offers a competitive compensation package.
