As a Sales and Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling and processing items for display and sale to customers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and process items for display and sale to customers
  • Provide excellent customer service by having a strong understanding of products and services
  • Check and verify fluid levels before the sale of gas-powered items
  • Explain benefits and features of merchandise to customers and suggest add-on merchandise
  • Maintain general knowledge of all products and be able to answer customer questions
  • Maintain assembled items on display for correct pricing and cleanliness
  • Review warranty and safety features with customers and ensure they are explained and recorded
  • Answer customer questions and provide assistance as needed
  • Practice and maintain security measures
  • Communicate with colleagues and management as needed
  • Assist with receiving and processing merchandise shipments
  • Restock shelves and displays and assemble products as needed
  • Process interstore transfers
  • Clean and maintain the work area, including dusting shelves and displays, sweeping and vacuuming, and emptying trash

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of retail experience preferred
  • Ability to work with tools and follow manufacturer's instructions
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a cash register
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
