Senior Tax Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our Corporate Tax Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing complex corporate federal and state tax returns, audit quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions prepared by staff, and assist managers in monitoring workflow and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare federal, state & local income tax returns, federal and state tax estimates, extensions and forecasting
  • Utilize advanced corporate tax knowledge and understanding to support the tax compliance and tax provision process
  • Review and prepare complex corporate federal and state tax returns
  • Audit quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions prepared by staff
  • Demonstrate understanding of tax return filing requirements for foreign operations
  • Conduct federal and state tax research and draft/review memorandums to support tax return filing positions and special projects to minimize tax expense
  • Demonstrate understanding of ASC 740 and ability to prepare income tax accrual calculations
  • Remain current on developments and changes in tax law and accounting procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of progressive corporate income tax preparation and experience working in either a corporate tax department or professional services environment
  • Knowledge of corporate tax preparation within a corporate tax department or professional services environment
  • Working knowledge of online tax research tools (CCH, RIA, BNA)
  • Demonstrate leadership and the ability to effectively problem-solve
  • Excellent advisory and compliance skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
