Salary: $27-28 per hour, depending on experience
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced LPN to work closely with our doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in our primary care medical office. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to problem-solve and provide excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Telephone triage and problem-solving
- Administering injections, medications, nebulizers, EKGs, finger stick glucose, INR, A1c, and pulmonary function testing
- Collecting samples for lab testing, including throat, wound, and urine cultures
- Responding to office emergencies
- Providing patient and family education on disease states, equipment use, and medication use
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of the LPN license program
- Proven experience in a medical office setting
- Ability to undertake diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA, and medical terminology
- Good physical condition and stamina
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
