Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at VCA Carriage Hills Animal Hospital. As a key member of our emergency veterinary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our veterinarians and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with emergency surgeries and medical procedures
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to veterinarians
  • Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and clients
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology or a related field
  • Current certification as a veterinary technician or technologist (CVT or RVT)
  • 1+ year of experience in emergency veterinary care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
