Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for our animals, including kennel areas, runs, and treatment spaces.
  • Feed and care for hospitalized animals and boarders, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Monitor and record important information about animal behavior, habits, and medical conditions.
  • Walk animals regularly to promote exercise and socialization.
  • Notify veterinarians or veterinary technicians of any unusual medical or behavioral issues.
  • Assist with restraint and treatment of animals during medical procedures.
  • Manage inventory of food, cleaning supplies, and other essential items.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the clinic.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekend and holiday shifts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience as a kennel assistant or in a related field.
