- Clean treatment, exam, surgery, and lab areas daily, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Maintain laundry throughout the day, keeping the laundry area neat and organized.
- Assist our veterinary team with restraint and treatment of animals, demonstrating a calm and gentle approach.
- Monitor and maintain our kennel inventory, ensuring we have adequate supplies of food, cleaning materials, and other essential items.
- Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the smooth operation of our clinic and providing exceptional service to our clients.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Flexible schedule, including some weekend and holiday shifts.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical and mental capacity to perform the demands of the role, including lifting 50+ pounds.
- Previous experience as a kennel assistant or in a related field.
- A competitive hourly rate, ranging from $8.50 to $16.00 per hour, based on experience.
