Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to join our Core Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) team. As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing our cloud firewall and web proxy solutions. You will work closely with our engineering team to architect solutions that prevent complex attacks, intrusions, and data loss utilizing Zero Trust architecture.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud firewall and web proxy solutions
  • Architect solutions to prevent complex attacks, intrusions, and data loss utilizing Zero Trust architecture
  • Offer architectural guidance to identify potential threats and assess risk levels across policies and access controls
  • Plan architectural changes to respond proactively to risk and the latest security standards
Requirements
  • 15+ years software development experience in large-scale commercial networking oriented applications
  • Expert-level programming skills in C and UNIX/Linux/RTOS
  • Experience with TCP/IP, High performance Computing, Event-based programming, and Fault Tolerance
  • BS degree (Engineering/Computer Science)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with FreeBSD-based networking solutions
  • Knowledge of HTTP and web proxies
  • Experience in Cloud-based Networking solutions
