Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinician I to join our team in Santa Clara County. The successful candidate will work within our Cross Systems Initiatives program, providing comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, and coordination of therapeutic activities in the community.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct culturally relevant assessments and evaluations to identify target behaviors and their functions.
  2. Develop effective treatment plans with clear and measurable intervention strategies tailored to child and family strengths, needs, and cultural preferences.
  3. Provide clinical leadership and facilitate the development of effective behavior and risk-specific reactive and proactive safety plans.
  4. Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of interventions with youth and families.
  5. Meet revenue and productivity standards.
  6. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical records.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Social Work, Marriage Family Counselor, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • One (1) year of supervised clinical experience with children.
  • Registration with the BBS or BOP required.
  • Licensed according to California state law (Welfare and Institutions Code section) or become licensed within the designated time frame.
Preferred Qualifications

We welcome candidates with:

  • Two (2) to three (3) years of clinical experience with children.
  • Training in domestic violence, physical/sexual child abuse, trauma, and competency to maintain current knowledge related to state, county, and local law.
  • Experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities with culturally diverse populations.
  • Bilingual communication skills in another language.
About Our Program

The Cross Systems Initiatives program involves creating and maintaining a therapeutic community in Santa Clara County for adults and older adults, focusing on those diagnosed with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) as per DSM-5 or ICD-10 criteria. The program serves high-risk, unserved, and underserved populations, including homeless individuals who have experienced 120 or more days of homelessness in the last year.
