Behavioral Support Specialist

Roots ABA Autism Treatment Center is seeking a skilled Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team in Cedar Knolls, NJ. This full-time position involves working under the supervision of experienced BCBA professionals to provide high-quality support to individuals with autism.
We offer comprehensive training and ongoing supervision to ensure your success in this rewarding role. As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will work closely with clients, their families, and our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized behavior plans.
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting ABA assessment and treatment sessions, implementing relevant portions of IEPs, collecting and analyzing data, and providing literature research as needed. You will also have opportunities to write assessment and treatment protocols, as well as reports.
Qualifications and Requirements- Enthusiasm for working with individuals with autism and their families
- Able to work effectively as part of a dynamic team
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field preferred
- RBT certification not necessary but helpful
- Physically able to perform duties required
- Able to pass crisis management training (ProSafe)
We offer a competitive salary range of $44,000 to $49,000 annually, with annual increases. Our benefits package includes PTO, sick time, holidays, and school year calendar with approximately 6 weeks' vacation. We also provide health insurance, life insurance, dental coverage, and a retirement plan.
