Role Overview:
Wells Fargo is looking for a Branch Banking Management Military Apprentice within our National Branch Network, part of the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. In this role, you will lead and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of engagement and accountability towards achieving business objectives. Successful managers in branch banking are adept at enhancing customer experiences through effective coaching and operational excellence. You will also engage directly with customers, assisting with transactions and setting an example for your team in delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in initiatives that identify process improvement opportunities within the Branch Banking sector.
- Analyze business challenges that require research and evaluation, applying independent judgment to deliver medium-risk solutions.
- Provide recommendations for complex issues while developing expertise in Branch Banking policies and compliance.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
- Participate in a structured apprenticeship program that includes on-the-job training, coursework, and mentorship, preparing you for a future role as an Associate Branch Manager.
- Comply with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and related regulations, ensuring all requirements are met for ongoing employment.
- At least 1 year of experience in finance or budgeting, or equivalent experience through work, training, military service, or education.
- Experience in any branch of military service.
- Background in customer-facing roles within the military.
- Leadership experience in coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal partners.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-driven with a high degree of initiative and accountability.
- Ability to work collaboratively across various organizational levels.
- Integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
- Effective time management and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems and applications.
- Understanding of compliance controls and risk management.
- Relevant military experience in personnel management or human resources.
- Enrollment in Wells Fargo's DOL Registered Apprentice Program is mandatory, with adherence to company policies and expectations.
- This position requires SAFE registration upon employment, with ongoing compliance to regulatory standards.
- Military experience is a prerequisite for this role.
