Job Title: Developmental Therapist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our team in Chandler, Arizona.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to work with children with autism and their families. As a Developmental Therapist, you will be responsible for providing individualized therapy sessions, collaborating with our interdisciplinary team, and building strong relationships with families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 therapy sessions to children with autism, focusing on teaching new skills and promoting comprehensive growth.
  • Engage children in play-based routines, transforming everyday moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills.
  • Collaborate with our team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, upholding the principles of the Early Start Denver Model.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing regular insights on their child's progress and offering guidance rooted in best child care practices.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in child care roles, such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or related educational experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a talent for building connections with young children and their families.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team.
