Soar Autism Center is seeking a Developmental Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping children with autism thrive.

As a Developmental Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering individualized ABA therapy sessions to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's rigorous standards. You will implement intervention plans developed by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's rigorous standards
  • Implement intervention plans developed by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles
  • Build rapport and maintain ongoing communication with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress within the ABA framework
  • Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in ABA therapy and maintain certification

Qualifications:

  • Preferably enrolled in or completed a degree program, with a focus on Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Soar provides paid training)
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, and a passion for helping them thrive
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality is essential
  • Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client
