Job Summary

HQ Aero Management Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Structures Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft by performing structural repairs and modifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove and install aircraft components as required.
  • Fabricate and modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
  • Perform minor structural repairs on composite components.
  • Assist in conducting hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures and component repair.
  • Assist with complex structural repairs on or off aircraft.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations as required.
  • Inspect confined areas of the airframe and provide time estimates as required.
  • Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to the work area and job functions.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of structural sheet metal repair/modification experience or substantiated similar experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of corporate/commercial jet experience.
  • Completed Sheetmetal A/C Tech school or equivalent training.
  • FAA A&P license or "A" license is strongly preferred.
  • Able to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal & written) aircraft status.
  • Demonstrated ability to train other employees is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Standard Aviation Tool Kit required.
  • Criminal Background checks and compliance with FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
Work Environment
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • FAR Part 145 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
Physical Demands
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Position requires frequent walking, standing, and climbing.
