Job Title: Affordable Housing Certification Specialist

At FPI Management, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Affordable Housing Certification Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our multifamily properties meet the necessary certification requirements for affordable housing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the annual certification process for our multifamily properties
  • Conduct applicant/resident certification interviews and gather eligibility documents
  • Process certification files in a timely manner
  • Maintain positive communication with onsite staff, Portfolio Managers, and Compliance team members
  • Update internal tracking systems and respond to Community Director, Portfolio Manager, Compliance Specialist, and Compliance Director

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience with affordable housing programs and regulatory compliance
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; college degree in a relatable field preferred
  • Affordable Housing/Tax Credit certification preferred
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
