Job Title: Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our constituents, processing payments, and performing various administrative and technical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service to City constituents, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process payments and fees from the public and other departments, maintaining accurate records and balancing transactions.
  • Perform various administrative and technical tasks, including document preparation, records management, and data entry.
  • Interact with the public, vendors, and City staff, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Assist with utility billing, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of customer service and administrative experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles, as well as computer software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
