About the Role
  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporations in various industries, including financial services, technology, and healthcare.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, working closely with clients to understand their businesses and industries, and providing tailored tax solutions to meet their needs.
  • Manage, develop, and coach professional tax staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Review returns prepared by tax associates and seniors, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Effectively delegate responsibilities to team members and monitor engagement team efforts to ensure timely and efficient delivery of tax services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations, applying knowledge to complex projects and communicating findings in writing, and providing expert advice to clients.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax department, with a strong background in tax planning and compliance.
  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field, with a strong academic record and relevant coursework.
  • CPA license, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Taxation or Law degree, with a strong focus on tax planning and compliance.
  • Partnership tax experience, with a strong understanding of partnership tax laws and regulations.
