Job Overview:

The Environmental Services Attendants are responsible for ensuring a clean and sanitary environment within the healthcare setting. This role may involve working in various locations within the client premises. Responsibilities may vary based on specific client needs and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dusting and polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
  • Vacuuming and sweeping floors.
  • Washing walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
  • Cleaning windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Emptying waste receptacles and transporting waste to disposal areas.
  • Replenishing bathroom supplies as needed.
  • Transporting small equipment or tools between departments.

Qualifications:

Experience in the janitorial field is preferred, with a focus on medical cleaning being a plus. Candidates must undergo a post-offer medical examination, background screening, and drug testing.

All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless a medical or religious exemption is granted.

A High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent is required.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms regularly. Employees may need to climb, stoop, kneel, or crawl occasionally and must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Work Environment:

Employees may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and may work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level is typically quiet.
