State of Florida is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior Nurse Supervisor. This role is responsible for providing quality professional care to veteran residents, ensuring their health, safety, and security in accordance with established agency Standard Operating Procedures and Nurse Practice Act.

The ideal candidate will have licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Florida Statute 464 or eligible to practice nursing in accordance with Florida Administrative Code 64B9. One year of supervisory and/or nurse administrator experience is also required. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Word, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In this role, you will supervise and direct nursing personnel on an assigned shift, ensure that work assignments are written, dated, and posted, and receive notices of absence when nursing staff calls off. You will also coordinate assignments to maintain regulatory compliance and meet the needs of the residents.

This position offers an excellent compensation package, including an estimated annual salary of $70,699.20, paid bi-weekly. The role also provides opportunities for overtime pay, vacation time, sick leave, nine paid holidays, and a personal day. Tuition waiver is available for State Universities and Community Colleges (up to six credits per semester).

You will participate in economical utilization of supplies, ensure that equipment is maintained in a clean and safe manner, and actively participate in continuing educational programs for self-development and in overall quality improvement programs.
