The State of Florida is seeking a skilled Senior Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Douglas T. Jacobson State Veterans' Nursing Home in Port Charlotte, FL.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual to provide high-quality nursing care to our residents. As a Senior Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, observing and reporting changes in resident condition, and providing emotional support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Observe and report any changes in resident condition, such as skin breakdown or behavioral issues.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant license in Florida.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
