Job Summary

Cleveland Vascular Care is seeking a skilled Vascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of various invasive diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of various invasive diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures, including scrubbing and circulating for assigned procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified areas of the body requested by physicians.
  • Perform specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures, including nuclear medicine and sonography.
  • Assist radiologists in fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations.
  • Prepare images for reading by radiologists or requesting physicians.
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
  • Complete forms and maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, operating a C-Arm within the scope of practice.
  • Prepare equipment, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments, and maintaining inventory of medical supplies.
Requirements
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required; Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology (CV) or Vascular-Interventional Radiology certification preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience in interventional radiology, special procedures, cardiac cath lab, or general diagnostic preferred.
  • Knowledge of over-the-wire experience preferred but not required.
  • BLS required, but can be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Education/Experience
  • Must have at least a 2-year degree in Associates of Applied Science of Radiology Technology with an ARRT certification.
Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Certificates and Licenses
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
