Job Title: Fabrication Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Aerotek. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to fabricate metal products. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate saws, brakes, shears, drilling, and laser equipment to fabricate metal products
• Read blueprints and use measurement equipment, including micrometers and calipers, to ensure accuracy and quality
• Work closely with production helpers to load and unload products on and off machines
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds
