About the Job

Purchasing Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and review vendor information for new setups, pricing agreements, and other purchasing-related tasks.
  • Create and maintain pricing agreements, as well as analyze data to support purchasing decisions.
  • Perform various Purchasing Department activities, including bid input, phone backup, and researching projects.
  • Track rebate payments and maintain payment trackers to ensure timely payments.
  • Review, analyze, and reconcile subcontractor/vendor invoices, coordinating activities with various departments.
  • Correspond with vendors to ensure accurate account status and timely invoice submission.
  • Assist construction personnel in adhering to Purchasing Department procedures.
  • Support the Purchasing, Estimating, and Options Departments as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • 1 year of Purchasing experience preferred.
  • 10-key by touch (speed and accuracy).
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
