Job Summary

The Program Coordinator will oversee the execution of programmatic activities, ensuring compliance with operational budgets and grant requirements. This role involves monitoring projects and initiatives, providing support for effective program operations, and maintaining systematic data collection related to program activities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnerships Focus
  • Conduct regular assessments of needs with students, families, school personnel, and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment of school goals with external partners and entities.
  • Develop and nurture partnerships with outside organizations that support the mission and vision of the school.
  • Participate as a member of the school's leadership team, identifying and strategizing around priorities that arise from the needs assessment.
  • Facilitate effective resource coordination and utilization at the school level.
  • Assist in data collection, record-keeping, and compliance measures related to partnership activities.
  • Organize regular meetings with partners and stakeholders.
  • Support the school in all interactions with external partners.
  • Create and manage communication platforms (such as newsletters and websites) to enhance partner engagement and increase awareness of resources and events among students, families, and staff.
  • Coordinate Out of School Time programming as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

Strategic Partnerships Focus
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Two years of full-time, paid professional experience in schools, non-profits, or program management.
OR
  • A combination of training and experience deemed acceptable by the Office of Talent.
All relevant work experience must be included in the resume.

  • Current social, political, and economic issues affecting urban schools, students, and families.
  • Community resources available to address social and economic needs.
