The Minot Hot Tots are a professional baseball team that joined the Northwoods League in 2023. As a summer collegiate baseball league, we provide top college players from North America and beyond with a unique opportunity to develop their skills and gain valuable experience.

With 26 teams and a massive following, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world. Our team is committed to delivering an exceptional fan experience, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Partnership Activation Manager.

The Position

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to lead our partnership activation department. As a Partnership Activation Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with corporate sponsors, developing and executing activation strategies, and ensuring seamless execution of sponsorship contracts.

You will work closely with our internal departments, including Marketing, Gameday Entertainment, Social, Ticketing, and Ballpark Operations, to create and develop impactful promotions, events, and community programs. Your primary role will be to assist our General Manager in selling and servicing corporate sponsorships, building proposals, organizing and fulfilling sponsorship contract elements, and maintaining sponsorship relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as the primary liaison between partners and internal team departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  2. Develop measurable, integrated activation strategies that drive business results, aligned with partner goals and objectives.
  3. Implement and execute all partner contractual elements, including in-stadium activations, digital and social media campaigns, print media, hospitality, consumer promotions, community programs, and events.
  4. Plan and execute all partner promotions and events, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  5. Manage and track all partnership inventory, providing regular updates to the partnership team.
  6. Oversee partnership invoicing, new contracts, and addendums, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  7. Conduct weekly partnership planning meetings with the partnership team, ensuring alignment and progress towards goals.
  8. Conduct annual and monthly partnership meetings/presentations with partners, reviewing and recapping partnership status, promotions, and events.
  9. Assist with partner-related content on the website, mobile app, game day programs, and other marketing materials.
  10. Produce partnership proposals and end-of-season proof of performance recaps, highlighting key achievements and results.
  11. Build professional relationships with partner accounts, deploying touchpoint strategies throughout the calendar year.
  12. Oversee and manage a team of seasonal interns, providing guidance and support as needed.
  13. Execute game day responsibilities, representing the team and ensuring a positive fan experience.
  14. Represent the team at various events and participate in community outreach programs, promoting the team's brand and values.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva, with the ability to create engaging marketing materials and presentations.
  • Previous experience in partnership activation, with a proven track record of success in building and maintaining relationships with corporate sponsors.
