This is a Full-Time role, with responsibilities including planning and executing enjoyable activities that promote resident engagement and well-being. You will work Monday through Friday with every third Saturday, ensuring our residents have a fulfilling daily experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage and assist residents in participating in various activities.
  • Provide one-on-one support to residents outside of scheduled programs.
  • Maintain records of activity participation and resident engagement.
  • Represent the organization positively at all times.
  • Show respect and courtesy to residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Therapeutic Recreation is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to foster enthusiasm and a positive atmosphere for activities.
  • Creative skills in arts, crafts, and games.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey instructions clearly and kindly.
