Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity in Averill Park, NY

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team on a contract basis in Averill Park, NY. This full-time position offers a 40-hour workweek, serving a K-5 caseload with approximately 20-30 students.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' academic and social success.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and treatment interventions.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of New York.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship (CF).
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in a K-5 setting, is preferred but not required.
