Job Overview

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide exceptional therapy services to students in schools. This full-time, school-based position is located in Trenton, NJ.


The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services to students individually and in group settings. This role also involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. The candidate will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress reports.


Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
