Role Significance: In the capacity of a Lead Consultant for Continuous Improvement Initiatives, you will spearhead and oversee significant projects aimed at enabling stakeholders to attain operational excellence and enduring outcomes.
Your proficiency in lean/six sigma and other enhancement methodologies will be pivotal in diagnosing, designing, and executing solutions that tackle the fundamental causes of process inefficiencies.
Additionally, you will play a vital role in cultivating and sharing continuous improvement best practices and thought leadership.This role encompasses conducting research, performing interviews, strategically analyzing results, identifying potential solutions, presenting findings to leadership, and implementing process modifications as necessary.
A Typical Day:
Lead and manage the comprehensive delivery of improvement projects, from initial scoping and planning through to execution and closure, ensuring high standards of quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with stakeholders to effectively define project engagements through the creation of charters that outline measurable outcomes, timelines, and communication strategies.
Utilize a structured and data-driven methodology for problem-solving, employing suitable tools and techniques to assess the current state, identify root causes, design future states, and implement solutions as required.
Co-facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions with client stakeholders and teams, leveraging effective communication and change management skills to engage and influence participants.
Manage both formal and informal communication strategies regarding Continuous Improvement.Support leadership initiatives and address critical issues through project engagements focused on continuous improvement.
Foster and maintain robust relationships with leadership and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and collaborator.
Contribute to the continuous improvement consulting practice by sharing best practices, lessons learned, and insights, while participating in internal initiatives and projects.
Required Skills and Experiences:- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Continuous Improvement.
- Strong expertise in lean, six sigma, and other improvement methodologies (e.g., PDSA, DMAIC), tools, and techniques, with the ability to apply them across various contexts.
- Excellent project management and analytical skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to define challenges, interpret and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and design metrics for processes.
- Experience in leading and delivering improvement projects across diverse industries, with a demonstrated history of achieving measurable and sustainable results.
- Strong collaboration, problem-solving, conflict resolution, facilitation, and consensus-building abilities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, adaptable to different audiences and styles.
- Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and customer-focused, with the ability to cultivate effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Green Belt certification or training and/or Lean/Six Sigma certification or training.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and Product management.
- Background in the healthcare sector.
