Key ResponsibilitiesThe Corporate Development Director will lead the evaluation and execution of key strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and other investment opportunities that support the enterprise's key goals and objectives.
This role will also be responsible for mentoring and developing talent within the corporate development function, providing guidance and feedback to elevate performance and create growth opportunities for the team.
A Day in the Life- Lead development and execution of enterprise strategic initiatives
- Identify and evaluate potential merger, acquisition, strategic partnership, or other investment opportunities that support the achievement of the enterprise's strategic goals
- Lead all aspects of the day-to-day activity of strategic initiatives including market research, business case development, financial modeling and analysis, valuation, and due diligence
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to execute transactions and strategic initiatives
- Develop and present materials outlining key analysis, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and the board
7+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, equity research, venture capital, management or strategy consulting, or corporate development within a large organization.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Strong financial competence and analytical skills
Knowledge of relevant industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive forces impacting the enterprise and its business lines
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Proven self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
