About the Role:

In this exciting opportunity, you will lead all phases of application development, including ideation and deployment of new features as well as maintenance, ownership, and support of existing features.

You will play a key role in the complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, CI/CD, DevOps deployment, maintenance, and support responsibilities.

As a leader, you will lead initiatives for improving processes to achieve better outcomes across the team.

You will work closely with product managers, scientists, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to deliver great software products.

Additionally, you will continually adapt to changes in technology, markets, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of application development, including ideation and deployment of new features
  • Play a key role in the complete software development lifecycle
  • Lead initiatives for improving processes to achieve better outcomes across the team
  • Work closely with product managers, scientists, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders
  • Continually adapt to changes in technology, markets, and processes
About You:

You are a fit for this role if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of software development, hosting, and maintenance experience
  • Prior experience with ML Ops - hosting, monitoring, and maintaining AI/ML models in the cloud
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing distributed systems using cloud services
  • Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining applications to Azure cloud services
  • Hands-on experience with Rust, Python, and SQL/Relational Databases
  • Prior experience leading other engineers (can be formal or informal engineering leadership)
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, unit testing, quality control practices, and incident management
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good creative problem-solving capabilities
