Director of Clinical Services

Join Alliance for Community Empowerment as the Director of Clinical Services, where you'll lead the Behavioral Health Department in providing high-quality behavioral health services by ensuring the development, quality, and sustainability of care for individuals facing barriers such as justice-system impacted, intergenerational trauma, and poverty.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the ongoing development and sustainability of department services.
- Lead ongoing assessment and evaluation to ensure that department services effectively address participant, organization, and community needs.
- Ensure quality assurance in service delivery, including clinical care and documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the Department of Mental Health, Managed Care Plans, school mental health leadership, and other payers and related entities.
- Work to incorporate best practices for diversity, equity, inclusion, restorative justice, and trauma-informed care into the organizational culture.
- Provide group and individual technical assistance related to clinical care management practices to direct service staff.
- Supervise and train ACE staff, interns, and partners, ensuring efficient service delivery, overseeing performance reviews, and developing supervision plans.
- Licensed Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Psychologist (LP) in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- At least three years of professional experience in mental health.
- Experience as a Medi-Cal provider in aspects of development, billing, and management.
- Possess a current California Driver's License, clean DMV record, and adequate auto insurance.
- Must submit to a Department of Justice Criminal background check.
- Initial TB employment clearance required.
- Anticipated pay range: $100,000 to $120,000 annually with a full benefit package.
