Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Leader to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team at Leidos.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers focused on designing, implementing, and managing endpoint migration solutions to support the transition of DoD endpoints to DISA's new cloud-based DoDNet Gen2 environment.

This is a critical position within our extensive digital modernization program, essential for the success of DISA and the Department of Defense (DoD).

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and implement user endpoint management (UEM) solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Develop automation solutions to facilitate seamless endpoint migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
  • Provide technical direction to the engineering team, defining clear tasks, articulating goals, assigning work, and tracking progress towards completion.
  • Remove blockers for the engineering team and foster open communication to drive project success.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improvement, exploring innovations in UEM to enhance the user experience, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Enforce security best practices, leveraging knowledge of security policies, network security, and data security.
  • Promote frequent interactions with the team to identify areas for growth and development, including participation in annual performance reviews.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance (US citizenship required).
  • Proven track record of managing teams, mentoring, and fostering collaboration.
  • Expertise in deploying and managing UEM/MDM technologies, including MECM and Intune.
  • Familiarity with application, server, and network security requirements, such as NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
  • Current IAT Level II (or higher) Certification, such as Security + or CISSP.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $122,200.00 - $220,900.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
