Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for the Vice President of Information Technology position for a dynamic nonprofit organization. This is an executive-level, full-time, direct-hire role based out of the organizationâ?™s Serven location.

This organization is a key player in Maryland's community services sector, with a growing operating budget and a dedicated workforce. The Vice President of Information Technology will provide strategic leadership and help transform its IT operations to support the organization's mission-driven goals.

What you will be doing: 

� Developing and executing a comprehensive IT strategy to align technology initiatives with organizational goals and strategic priorities.  
� Providing executive-level strategic advice to the leadership team and department heads on all technology-related matters, ensuring the alignment of IT systems with the business's evolving needs.  
� Driving the optimization and transformation of IT infrastructure, ensuring it supports organizational growth, operational efficiency, and flexibility.  
� Leading the IT department to ensure secure, reliable, and cost-effective management of all IT operations, infrastructure, and applications.  
� Collaborating with senior leadership to develop and manage the IT budget, evaluating emerging technologies and their potential to deliver ROI and business innovation.  
� Overseeing capital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet service-level requirements.  
� Mentoring, coaching, and developing a team of IT professionals and external consultants to ensure optimal performance and team success.  
� Leading strategic growth and operational plans across the organization, ensuring the technology infrastructure enables business growth and agility.  
� Staying current with industry trends in housing, community development, human services, and nonprofit sectors to inform strategic decision-making.  
â?¢ Performing other duties as assigned by leadership to support the organization's evolving needs.

Qualifications: 

� A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree or IT certification(s) is a plus.  
� Proven experience leading an IT department, with a successful track record in IT operations at the director level or higher.  
� Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation, innovation, and operational improvement within a dynamic business environment.  
� Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines concurrently.  
� Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear, accessible manner.  
� Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.  
� Highly analytical with exceptional problem-solving and time management skills.  
� Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.  
� Proficient in Microsoft Office and enterprise software applications.  

Compensation:

This position offers a highly competitive salary, commensurate with experience, starting at $170,000 annually. Executive benefits include unlimited PTO, a car allowance, and a $10,000 relocation stipend. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as long-term disability, tuition waivers, and more
