Job Title: Mechanical/Industrial Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical/Industrial Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing composite molds and assembly fixtures to support prototyping activities within the design engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop composite molds and assembly fixtures to support prototyping activities
  • Conduct method engineering and manufacturing engineering to improve human integration
  • Analyze technical information to ensure design consistency and site installation methods
  • Plan and coordinate tooling design phases with project teams
  • Optimize tooling design and machine performance to reduce site installation time
  • Prepare technical drawings and documents, including test procedures and engineering notes
  • Provide technical support to the supply chain and participate in technical support of site teams
  • Validate costing procedures and tooling during the tendering phase

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in tooling design and development
  • Strong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
