Store Delivery Associate

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Store Driver to join our team at Advance Auto Parts. As a Store Driver, you will be responsible for delivering parts to our commercial customers and assisting with inventory processes in the store.
Primary Responsibilities:- Safely Deliver Parts: Ensure timely and safe delivery of parts to our commercial customers.
- Pick and Stage Parts: Pick and stage parts for customer orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Pick Up Returns and Cores: Collect returns and cores from customers and transport them back to the store.
- Drop Off Weekly/Monthly Sales Flyer: Deliver weekly and monthly sales flyers to our commercial customers.
- Daily Collection of Credit Accounts: Collect credit accounts from customers on a daily basis.
- Store Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot.
- General Stocking: Assist with general stocking, including truck stocking and back stock.
- Basic Driving and Navigation: Possess basic driving and navigation skills.
- Ability to Use Delivery Board System: Familiarity with delivery board system.
- Friendly Communication: Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with customers, peers, and management.
- Ability to Locate and Stock Parts: Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently.
- Safety Knowledge and Skills: Possess safety knowledge and skills to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operating Inventory Systems: Familiarity with operating inventory systems and store equipment.
- Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
- Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic Math Skills: Possess basic math skills to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Automotive parts experience is preferred, but not required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license.
- Fleet Safety Certification: Be fleet safety certified.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is usually working inside; however, they will occasionally be outside and exposed to various weather conditions while performing such tasks as installing batteries and wiper blades.
The employee is also occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; explosives; and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
