Store Delivery Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Driver to join our team at Advance Auto Parts. As a Store Driver, you will be responsible for delivering parts to our commercial customers and assisting with inventory processes in the store.
Key Responsibilities- Delivery and Customer Service: Safely deliver parts to customers as needed, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Inventory Management: Pick and stage parts for customer orders, pick up returns and cores, and assist with inventory processes in the store.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot.
- General Stocking: Assist with general stocking, including truck stocking and back stock.
- Basic Driving and Navigation: Possess basic driving and navigation skills, with the ability to use a delivery board system.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate friendly communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, peers, and management.
- Math and Reading Skills: Possess basic math skills, including the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
- Automotive Parts Experience: Prior experience in the automotive parts industry is preferred.
The work environment for this role will be primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor exposure to various weather conditions. The employee will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent walking, standing, and lifting of up to 50 pounds.
