Position: Project Manager - Heavy Civil
Compensation Range: $80,000 - $110,000 Annually

The Project Manager is accountable for the comprehensive planning, scheduling, resource management, financial oversight, and regulatory compliance of projects. This role also involves providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee safety, quality, and budgetary aspects of each project.
  • Manage all contractual documentation and administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and supervise all necessary submissions to clients and general contractors.
  • Directly manage subcontractors, labor, equipment, material procurement, and maintain project timelines.
  • Responsible for developing and submitting payment applications, claims, and change order documentation.
  • Evaluate project performance utilizing appropriate methodologies.
  • Finalize contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Participate in on-site meetings and address any scheduling conflicts related to site operations and various trades.
  • Supervise tasks assigned to the Project Engineer.

Qualifications:


Required:

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and lead a team effectively.
  • Strong time management and logistical decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and accountability.
  • Aptitude for managing multiple tasks and performing well under pressure.
  • Capability to interpret and understand construction drawings.
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and/or other project management tools.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in site work, excavation, and underground utilities.
