Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Clinical Expertise: Utilize your advanced clinical knowledge to develop and implement nursing care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Education and Training: Collaborate with unit educators to develop and implement educational programs, enhancing the skills and knowledge of nursing staff.
- Quality Improvement: Monitor nursing care quality standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare providers and departments, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Education: Possession of a license and current registration as a registered professional nurse in New York State.
- Experience: 3 years of post-licensure acute care clinical nursing experience.
- Credentials: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing can substitute for 1 year of post-licensure clinical nursing experience, and a Master's Degree in Nursing can substitute for 2 years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience.
This is a full-time position with a variable schedule, including days, evenings, and possible weekends. The salary range is $112,050 to $137,339, based on years of experience and education, plus shift and/or inconvenience pay, if applicable.
