Job Title: Paramedic

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team at AMR. As a Paramedic, you will respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests, providing high-quality care and treatment to patients.

**Responsibilities:**

* Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action, utilizing progressive Paramedic protocols.
* Utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids, to provide critical care.
* Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones, providing information and reassurance.
* Act as a team leader, taking responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
* Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.

**Other Responsibilities:**

* Participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image and establish strong community relations.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
* New Mexico State Paramedic Certification
* State Driver's License
* BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
* Driving record compliant with company policy
* Pass the Physical Agility Test
* Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
