Job Title: Department Manager - Energy Efficiency

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to oversee our energy efficiency initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of projects, optimizing processes, and driving team performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management within the energy sector and a passion for sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of energy efficiency projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers, technicians, and project coordinators, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze operational processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall service delivery.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and operational effectiveness; prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the budget for operations, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the energy efficiency or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects and leading teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency technologies, trends, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
