Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Actuarial Leader to join our team at Prudential Ins Co of America. As Vice President of Actuarial Capabilities and Business Insight, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of actuarial and business analysis professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development of accurate and reliable data sources, metrics, and reporting.
  • Act as an advisor to the Group Insurance leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure the effective utilization and management of data to maximize business performance.
  • Lead the modernization of actuarial processes, leveraging modern tools and techniques to bring efficiency and quality.
  • Provide technical leadership on complex projects relating to our actuarial process, working in a cross-functional environment.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Actuarial teams to execute advanced analytics strategy, fostering business-relevant model development and management.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in actuarial science.
  • Manage and lead a team of actuarial and other staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as FSA or ASA.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and leadership abilities.

The salary range for this role is from $195,100.00 to $263, Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
