About the Role

Newport Pacific Capital, a leading provider of manufactured housing, RV resort, and apartment community management, is seeking a skilled Community Manager to join our team at a Housing for Older Persons Community in Irvine, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining positive resident relations and ensuring compliance with the law.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and code-compliant environment.
  • Collect and deposit rent payments, and perform all related data entry and bookkeeping tasks.
  • Process applications for tenancy and facilitate a seamless move-in/move-out process.
  • Prepare tenancy contracts and corresponding documents and present them for signing.
  • Perform routine inspections and take corrective action for deficiencies.
  • Handle resident complaints with urgency and empathy.
  • Recognize and address maintenance needs.
  • Solicit third-party contractor bids and oversee third-party projects.
  • Effectively respond to urgent/emergency situations that sometimes occur outside of normal business hours.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years' property MHC experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of the MRL and Title 25.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Rent Manager software preferred.
What We Offer
  • $25-$27 per hour (depending on experience and housing needs) with a benefits package after successful completion of an introductory period.
