Assistant General Manager

At Call Your Mother, we're passionate about serving up more than just great food - we're committed to creating an exceptional experience for our guests and our team members alike. As an Assistant General Manager, you'll play a key role in bringing our vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, including kitchen and front-of-house service
  • Act as General Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless execution of our service standards
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting to drive sales and profitability
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to recruit, train, and evaluate team members
  • Ensure compliance with ServeSafe food safety standards and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Foundational understanding of P&L, cost of goods sold, labor/scheduling, training & team development, food quality standards
  • ServeSafe Manager's Food Safety Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a focus on developing a diverse team
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
