Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Roper St. Francis Healthcare. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality CT scans to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures
  • Assist radiologists with procedures as needed and supervise student radiologic technologists
  • Ensure accurate and efficient scanning procedures, adhering to established protocols and medical supervision
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain good relations with patients, staff, and physicians
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited Allied Health Professionals program preferred
  • One year of experience as a radiologic technologist preferred; registered in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or current RSFH teammate with a high school diploma or GED and a permanent certification in Radiography from SCRQSA
  • Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card and certification or documentation of certification application with the SCRQSA
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to perform and teach CT exams to produce satisfactory diagnostic images
Work Environment

Our CT Technologist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting/moving patients. The ideal candidate will be able to work under stressful conditions, meet deadlines, and adapt to irregular hours.
