Job Summary

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is responsible for the independent operation of CT equipment, performing and communicating results of diagnostic CT examinations under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the ARRT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment and perform diagnostic CT examinations
  • Communicate results to Radiologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain a high standard of medical ethics and adhere to ARRT regulations
  • Perform daily operations of the department, including patient scheduling and equipment maintenance
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician certification
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
