Job Title: Patient Transport Driver Per Diem

About the Role:

As a Patient Transport Driver, you will be responsible for transporting patients, staff, and equipment to and from various outside appointments, clinics, nursing facilities, or other ancillary locations via hospital-owned vans. You will integrate the hospital's mission and guiding principles into your daily practice, ensuring a safe and compassionate experience for our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients, staff, or equipment to and from various outside appointments, clinics, nursing facilities, or other ancillary locations via hospital-owned vans.
  • Ensure the safe and timely transportation of patients, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills in patient transportation and care.
Requirements:
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Driving record that meets the standards of the Transportation Policy.
  • Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
  • Six months of van transport experience preferred.
